Monsieur Renaud has lived in Saigon (Ho Chi Minh City) for over 30 years and brings his own unique perspective on not only the cause of French Bashing, but the tools needed to stop this worldwide virus!
Using anecdotes, cultural comparisons, and a wry sense of humour, he will show you how easily you can embrace the French and France without guilt!
Francis has been performing his unique brand of storytelling solo comedy in Vietnam for 10 years, alongside his regular business of, firstly banking and then, coffee buyer.
His initial theme was verbal caricature and literary humour in French – a mix of classic and popular style performed to a small audience. But he felt he could widen his audience and switched to performing in English.
That’s how, with the help of Emily Huckson, an anglo canadian theater teacher, actor, company director, this comedy show came to life : “French bashing by a Frenchman!”.
